We are a Canadian-controlled private corporation (CCPC), specializing in the creation of optimized websites.
What are your main objectives?
Our goal is to help you do business better. In order to do that, we use marketing, s/w development, SEO optimization, leads-focused implementations, web design, and media, to help present your business in a world-class manner. The only thing we cannot do is do your work for you. That part, you will have to take care of yourself!
Discuss the technical specifics of the company
The CEO is a software specialist who has spent more than 25 years working in hi-tech and has installed and configured many servers (mail, web, database). He has also spent years writing web management software, and so is thoroughly versed on a technical level.
What type of operating systems do you use?
In terms of a web, mail, and database, environment, only Linux servers are used. On a local basis (when cropping images, etc, for clients), a combination of Windows and Linux machines are used.
Will you be backing up my website?
Backups are made daily. These backups can be used to restore service in case of a catastrophic failure (fortunately, this has never been needed).
What type of web servers do you use?
We only use Apache. This is the world's number one web server. It is a robust server and is the number one choice for millions around the globe.
Do you ever use insecure (http) protocol, or have you switched entirely to secure (https)?
To ensure that your data is protected in the highest manner possible, all web sessions use the secure (https) protocol. Should you not be running a secure environment at all times, we recommend that you do.
What type of secure certificates do you use?
By default, we use secure certificates issued by Let's Encrypt. We will not charge you any extra to provide you with this service. This is the only secure certificate that we provide. By focusing on one (free) secure certificate, we are able to serve more people. These certificates are as robust as any other secure certificate.
The Building of Your Website
How are you going to build my website?
We are going to build it with WordPress. WordPress is a great platform, but like any platform, or any tool, it has to be used correctly. And like any fine instrument, it needs to be tuned correctly.
Will you be adding any other modules to my website?
Yes, normally, you can expect numerous plugin modules to be added, which add increased functionality. We regularly use premium (pro-version) GPL-licensed modules.
How long will it take to create my website?
On average, your website will take several days to several weeks to create. This will depend on the complexity of the project and your ability to provide us the needed materials (for example, your vision statement).
How does the review process work?
Once we have produced your website for you, we will present it to you, and make as many changes as necessary to ensure that you are fully-satisfied. We will not charge you extra for this, unless you are requesting new features not previously agreed upon.
Do you require an up-front deposit before commencing the work?
Yes, we will collect a 25% non-refundable deposit from you before the work begins.
After Going Live
Will I be able to edit my website after going live?
Certainly! You will be able to edit and add new pages, or posts, and manage every aspect of your website, whether that means managing your store, or contacts gathered through leads-focused software.
Is help available after going live?
We will sit down and go over all of the features of your website via a 1-hour free web conference. On top of that, we provide up to 2 hours of free “hands on” technical help per year (which could include more web conferencing or changes to your website), and unlimited free email support. Please note that we do not carry forward unused free hours to future years.
